Student Programs and Opportunities
[Notes from NITOC flyer with additional information]
In addition to online resources, presentations at summer debate camps, and fall workshops, Economic Thinking works with and recommends these organizations and programs:
• American Logos, training and supporting students for World Schools competition at international debates in Europe.
• Think Freely Media Tournament, won last year by Abby Lovett, a former homeschool debater. (students must be 18 or over). At Think Freely website, tournament rounds shown for FEECon, SPN meeting, and Young Americans for Liberty convention. In August an online round will be available for others to enter.
• Transportation Policy Institute will offer online speech contest open to all debaters. Plus research and speaking opportunities. EconomicThinking.org/tpi/
• Online course (with college credit available) will offered for Stoa policy topic by Lumerit Education (was CollegePlus). In development, more information soon.
